My TEDx talk, “What no one ever told you about people who are single,” captures the true spirit of my work on single people, as I have pursued it for more than two decades. It is a joyful, unapologetic, myth-busting, affirming take on single life, based not just on my opinions or experiences, but scientific research.

As of the very end of March 2020, the talk had been viewed more than a million times. I hope that means that my perspective has some real resonance. It would be nice to relegate the once-typical take on single people, a pitying and stigmatizing one, to the dustbin of history.
