Seems like this “All things single” blog has been a bit neglected of late. Sorry about that. I have been happily busy with lots of things. I’m getting that new-ways-of-living project off the ground, doing all the interviews I can afford to do on my own dime in order to be able to write a compelling enough proposal to get a book contract. That means either interviewing people I can get to easily by train or car, or visiting friends who can put me up for free. If I do get a contract, then I will be less constrained by costs.
I’ll be doing more interviews at the end of this week and the beginning of next, so my apologies in advance if I get behind (or maybe I should say, even more behind) on answering emails and other communications.
I’m still posting an average of twice a week at my Single at Heart blog at PsychCentral (that’s in my agreement with them) and continuing to post at Living Single at Psych Today as well.
Some good news: I’ve been studying the results of the first 1200 people who responded to the Single at Heart survey. (You can still participate if you haven’t already. People are still welcome to participate in the new-ways-of-living survey as well.) It has been such fun to read pages and pages of answers to the question, “Why do you think you are, or are not, single at heart?” Answers to all of the other questions are generating great stuff, too.
So, stay tuned. In the next week or so, I will start posting discussions of the results over at my Single at Heart blog. By the way, the image at the top of this blog post is the logo for my Single at Heart blog. [UPDATE: You can find the first two posts about the survey results here and here.]
As always, I have tons and tons of great stuff that has been sent to me by readers, and some things I’ve found myself – all worthy of blog posts. I don’t know how much of it I will actually get to, or when, but keep your tips coming! They are always much appreciated.
